PROJECT: summer Khador!

 so. with the conquest almost out its time to start my summer project. I'm startin up Khador. here's my first painted mini. a destroyer. I have very mixed feeling about this paint job. i worked on it for hours and have some nice subtle shading on it. but it feels... meh.

painting at the lake

did some painting out at the lake on tuesday. its a really nice to paint but super distracting, so not a ton of progress. but nevertheless here are some jokers.

Pics of finished eden table

It was actually done last week but I left it at my FLGS, so I couldn't take pictures till today. This is it for now. I have a few more ideas for terrain I want to make for it so I can change things up from game to game but for now it works. I played a game with it on Friday and got stomped... still fun, and the table worked great so that's all that really matters.

So goals...

This week I need to get some paint on my jokers. Nothing feels better than playing on a sweet table with fully painted dudes. Other than that its thinking about 6th edition, and getting a space wolves list built and painted, or maybe fantasy ogres... Im sure mercs is going to sneak in there too. Ehh, we'll see how things go. It's too hot to paint right now anyway

eden table update

not a lot of painting has been done to my minis as of late because I've been working on getting my table finished for eden. here's my progress so far.

I'm super happy with how the wrecked car turned out. and the board itself tuned out really nice as well. hopefully i get a chance to try it all out this Sunday!

first post!

so! First post... well my good friend Cody convinced me to start a hobby blog of my own. so here it is. This will mostly be a place to put up my work and to try and kick my ass into actually working on some of my toys. So I'm going to start with some pictures of stuff Ive painted. to start lets see some Malifaux.

so next I'll show off some anima tactics. I'm fairly new to the game but i enjoy the models and the mechanics. I also love how fast the game plays. the other day i played 5 games in under 2 hours.

the faction I play is called dark sun. they're basically a cross between the shinra corp. and umbrella. I'm really happy with how they turned out. definitely some of my best work to date. especially the girl on the top and the guy in the robes. lots of free hand details that i didn't know i could do until i tried it.

so my current project is my jokers gang for this game called eden. its a french game and the rules are really cool. im already planning a table and a bunch of terrain for these guys. the awesome thing is its played on a 2x2! soo cool.

so thats it! first post is a big'un. the jokers are all built and based now so i will hopefully update soon with some progress pics.
